Hello World! Welcome to Technically Easier
Technology education, community updates, and making the digital world a little less daunting.
Hello!
I’m CJ Flynn, and I’m thrilled to officially launch the Technically Easier Substack.
Many of you may know me from my technology classes at Kirkwood Community College, my work with local residents in Hiawatha, or perhaps through my role on the City Council. Whether we’ve met in a classroom or a council meeting, you know that my passion lies in two things: community and clarity.
Why Technically Easier?
I started my consulting business to provide technology education and support specifically for the 55+ community. I believe that technology should be a tool that empowers us, not a source of frustration.
What to Expect Here
Starting in May, I’ll be moving to a monthly rhythm. On the first of each month, you can expect:
Practical Tech Advice: Simple tips to stay safe and connected.
Local Updates: What’s happening in our neck of the woods and upcoming events.
Business Behind-the-Scenes: Updates on where Technically Easier is headed and new classes I’m teaching at Kirkwood and arround the area.
Building This Together
I’m a big believer in “Buy It For Life” quality and straightforward, subscription-free living wherever possible. This newsletter is an extension of that philosophy—just honest, useful information delivered straight to your inbox.
If you’re seeing this before the upcoming newspaper feature, welcome to the “early adopters” club! I’m glad you’re here.
Feel free to subscribe below to stay updated, and I’ll see you in May for our first full update.
